We love you, Paul Walker.

Every time I wake up in the morning, the first thing I do is to check my phone. While I was browsing my Twitter, I started reading tweets like, "Fast and Furious will not be the same without you, Paul Walker." and "OMG PAUL WALKER."  I thought he was just going to leave the franchise film for whatsoever reason. Still, I got curious. I kept on scrolling and read TMZ's tweet about Paul Walker being dead. I WAS STUNNED. I immediately click the link and then, poof. This article showed up to my face stating that he died from a car accident. I'm not totally convinced (I intend not to) so I googled him and that's when I found out that it's really not a hoax (I still hope it is). It's so tragic and heartbreaking. :-( No one saw it coming. It's just so sad and depressing how sudden death takes someone's life away. </3 You'll be missed, Paul Walker. Be our angel.

Bring me back to life

I'm back from a 2-month hiatus to being an employed person! I started working at Interprise Solutions (still Makati-based) last Monday, August 5. Finally, a more technical job. :p I'm still familiarizing myself, studying this and that. So far, it's great. To make things more exciting, I'm with my friends — Pau, Kath, Jejo! :-)

Anyway, last night, August 8, I had dinner with my college friends after being MIA for number of months. It was a tiring but a lovely night, indeed. Missed you, XV.

TVD S4 Finale

TVD S4 FINALE SPOILER ALERT.

So... I'm still hungover from the finale. A lot has happened. And you knew there's going to be like, 2 to 3 more seasons of it.

Klaus is back for the last time on TVD! He's having his own show, The Originals, a TVD spin-off where he is the main character together with the other Originals. I'm not sure about Rebecca though. Anyway, he healed Damon's wound 'cause he was shot by a wooden bullet with laced werewolf venom. Long story short, Klaus told Caroline that Tyler is already free to go back to Mystic Falls because I quote, He's your first love. I intend to be your last, however long it takes. End quote. Then my heart jumped out of too much joy! Isn't it the sweetest thing? I love Klaus and Caroline together so I need to see more of them on screen!

2013 Elections

Today, 13th of May 2013, we held the 2013 Philippine National and Local Elections. I was so psyched when I woke up this morning because I was so prepared; I had my list of candidates (whom I researched on carefully) with me that I made beforehand. My sister and I arrived at the polling center around 7 AM, looked for our designated precincts and cluster that took most of our time. (Little did we know, it's already on the Voter's ID itself, hahaha.) Fell in line at 7:30 AM and waited for 2 hours and 30 minutes before we finally cast our votes. It was one heck of a J.Co donuts line, indeed!

So to make the story short, this evening, when we arrived home, Twitter has been making a lot of noises regarding the partial unofficial tally of senatoriables. Of course I have to google and be updated, too! The partial list was very shocking and disappointing especially when I saw that one name I hate to see to be in the top 12 (I have my reasons so...). Half of whom I voted and I WANT THE MOST didn't make the cut. It's really saddening because some people (1) might not really voted wisely, or (2) might not be able to register, or (3) weren't in the country, ill, or physically disabled to vote, or the worst part (4) sold their votes in exchange of money. Mad mad world.

I just hope the final tally of votes will change drastically (which is funny) from what the media are showing us right this very moment. May the ever-worthy candidates have a place in the senate. God bless the Philippines.

Safe Haven (2013)

Title: Safe Haven (2013)
Starring: Julianne Hough, Josh Duhamel
Directed by: Lasse Hallstrom

As for someone who read the book, the movie just gave the right amount of justice to it. I praise Josh Duhamel a lot, not because of his very manly aura and hot bod (okay, aside from these two :p), but because he's so into character that he really convinced me as a real father to his kids. Same goes with Julianne Hough who I started to really like. She's so talented it makes my life so unfair. Haha. She's got the bod, the voice, the dancing skills, and could really act well. I also want to address Cobie Smulders' performance. And how I see her acting so stunning. I haven't seen her in films like this (well, The Avengers doesn't count) so this was all new to me. Way to go, Robin Sparkles! :p

Today, I watched a day-to-day video that drove me nuts.

As I was browsing for Demi Lovato's newest single Heart Attack, I came across Demi Lovato's Wikipedia page. I read about her career break that led her to leave Sonny With A Chance, which by the way was a favorite of mine (and it broke my heart when it ended). Then I read that she didn't push through with the Jonas Brothers' concert back in the day and punched a backup female dancer that led her to be admitted and be personally treated. It said that she suffered from Bulimia, self-injury, and self-medicating.

I clicked on "Bulimia" then found "Anorexia Nervosa" and came across this woman named Olivia Cohen. She water fasted for 3 consecutive 40 days. That's 40 times 3 equals 120 friggin' days with no food just water. There were 3 batches actually. And she ate food every after 40 days. Man, that's sick! I watched all of her day to day videos and you could actually see how drastic her weight loss was! I feel sad for her and I can't help but pity her... a lot. She kept on saying that she was really starving and feeling really exhausted on most of her videos. But instead of giving in to temporary pleasure, she's just gonna stick to her long-term goal.
