Last April, we visited the beautiful island of Boracay. It was my and my family's first time to visit! Glad to have this booked for some family getaway.
Our travel was really smooth. Thankful to have no flight delays, and everything just worked out as expected. We booked our airport/land and boat transfers via Klook. Had a great experience with Southwest Tours because they're so accommodating and hospitable. Kudos to all the staff that assisted us and for being really accommodating!
Accommodation: Boracay Cocohuts
Our accommodation was located on beachfront, so we had to walk 10 minutes or so from the main road. One staff helped us with our luggage. He was carrying 3 of them! (We tipped him, of course, always!)
Our place was just above Army Navy in Station 1 (near Station 2), and thankfully, we get to eat right away when we arrived. The room we have booked was huge! It has 1 queen and 4 single beds! It was able to accommodate the 5 of us (and more)! It's a 3-storey room with a loft and really spacious. Nothing much to comment except: (a) they don't allow outside slippers to be worn inside (we brought disposable ones to wear), which makes sense since the location is beachfront, (b) the room doesn't have dimmed light setting on the 3rd level so my sister and I had to sleep with lights on – we cannot turn it off because it will be too dark for us, (3) and since there are nearby bars, you can hear fragments of music till late at night – which was not a bother for us, but could be for others.

We rested for a bit and settled in, then went out to buy some supplies and find some place to eat. We were welcomed by the beautiful beach with sand so white and fine. The water and skies are clear, it's tempting!
Food: Cocomama, Elyu Inasal, Aplaya, Jonah's Fruit Shake
Stumbled upon Cocomama and of course, we had to try it! Masarap, sobra! Then we had our late lunch at Elyu Inasal, which served tasty grilled chicken. Think of Mang Inasal, Boracay edition. For merienda, we had drinks and food at Aplaya.
Went back to the beach for a quick swim and some photos during sunset!
The next day, we finally tried Jonah's fruit shake. Now we know why it has always been a staple and a must-try when visiting the island. I don't know how they do it, but it's so creamy, milky, and you'll know the taste that the fruits they use are fresh! Nanay who took our orders was also nice and friendly.
Activities: Paraw-sailing, Crystal Kayak
We also booked our Paraw-sailing via Klook. It was very organized. The experience was unforgettable. We were just sailing, taking loads of photos as we stare at the skies during sunset, as if the waters have taken our worries away. It was my favorite part of the trip!

Of course, we wouldn't miss the Crystal Kayak photo-op! It was really hot and wavy when we did this activity but the after-photos made it so worth it! Kuya who assisted us was very professional, he told us all the poses and the shots he needed to take, and bam!
Coffee: Fiesta Souvenir Cafe, Season Coffee
We had to have coffee! Season Coffee is newly-opened in Boracay Station 2. I ordered their Boracay Sea Salt Latte, and it was SO good! It wasn't too sweet, just the right amount of sweetness. Their coffee bean tastes fresh hence, the overall blend is complementing.
Surprisingly, for Fiesta Souvenir Cafe, we didn't expect much. But man, their coffee also tasted good! I ordered the Coco Coffee since I'm always adventurous when trying, and it turned out so well! Just the way I like my coffee! Not too sweet as well, and you can taste the richness of the coffee bean.
I am not really much of a "beach person", but getting to experience Boracay even once is fulfilling! It's definitely an experience, and a memory to look back to. ♥
