Richmonde Hotel, Ortigas

Taking advantage of the long weekend last August 26th-27th, I booked my mom, Joyce, Ria, and myself a one night staycation at Richmonde Hotel through Agoda (one day before our target check-in date). It was supposed to be a family outing with my relatives, unfortunately, I wasn't able to find a private pool that would fit our budget and preferred date.

Hulio: Our shoe venture

Thiz izzz it! We've finally  made it happen!

Hulio is a Philippine local shoe brand made from handcrafted leather. The name "Hulio" was coined from Hulyo, Filipino translation of July. (It was back in July 2016 when my sister and I came up with the idea.) We just stylized the name and changed Y to I. Hence the name, Hulio.

El Nido, Palawan: Day 3 & 4

Day 3
Island Tour
April 2, 2017

Woke up a little late today. Breakfast was served at the usual time, 7 AM. We had embutido that tasted like meh, with egg, and rice. We were fetched around 8 AM and headed to the beach. We've been renting snorkeling gears for P100/day. Don't worry, they didn't look gross, they seemed clean (and hopefully sterilized). Don't just overthink that these gears had been used by random people in the past. I didn't catch anything after using them, anyway. Though, it's always better to bring your own gears like my friends did.

El Nido, Palawan: Day 1 & 2

Though I wasn't able to attend Coldplay's #AHFODTour last April 4 (sob), I still made sure to experience para-para-paradise in, none other than, Palawan. We booked this trip from one year ago, and now, we're here!

Hey there, mister!

Ria's 2nd birthday party

Party never ends... for mommies! It doesn't feel like a year has already passed since Ria's first birthday party. I remember when I couldn't calm down because I had to check every single detail of her party even if Stacy's asked me not to worry anymore. I DIY-ed the things I wasn't supposed to, just because I felt like I have to. Can you feel me, mommies? We couldn't calm down, could we?

Kidzoona, SM City Masinag

We were all first timers when we visited Kidzoona at SM City Masinag last January 2. We've been planning to go there since forever and this time, it finally pushed through.

Travel size Hair Straightener

When I was having my nails retouched at a nearby salon with my mom and Ria a month ago, there was this itchy feeling that I needed a haircut. I asked Jo, the senior stylist, to layer my hair. I got so bored looking at myself with the usual medium bob cut, so why not. I walked out from the salon feeling all ~*pretty*~ and satisfied.

Reality: My everyday still-wet ugly hair.

Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar, Bagac, Bataan

Since we usually just stay home on Christmas Day to avoid traffic and crowded places, we decided to go on a 4-hour drive to Bagac, Bataan the next day, December 26. It was a special non-working holiday Monday, so why not.

New Years, New Beginnings

When 2016 started, I thought everything would be a bit better than 2015. I thought it would, somehow, heal all the pain, and the hurtful words. Well it did, in a way unimaginable.

Sometimes, we were just blinded by fantasies. We don't want to accept the fact that some things are falling apart, out of our control. So then we pretend that things are perfectly fine.

Royal Pines, Highgrove, Tagaytay

Annually, together with my college friends, we celebrate our version of Christmas party, usually at someone's place. We'd do it traditionally; playing parlor games, eating together, and of course, exchanging of gifts! This year, we celebrated in Tagaytay, at Royal Pines Highgrove. The house we rented was so spacious, the 14 of us can even roll over all at once!
